One of the things that I’m noticing about this Digital Nomad life is that business dealings tend to increasingly have need for geographical variability. What I mean by that is that more and more travel and work intersect so that it’s not just that I’m working from wherever I (Elena) happen to be, but I’m traveling to places to create for work. I love this intersection and I recognize that it’s a result of the increasingly global perspective I have of life.
As most Digital Nomads do, I’ve started a new venture, one of two new ones, actually, and I ended up in one of my favorite places in the world to do a photoshoot. This time Jon didn’t join me as he was in Thailand. Instead, I was joined by my business partner, Magdie Capo, who also happens to be an epic photographer.
For a peek into this new business venture, head on over to The Pampered Period Box. If you have a monthly menstrual cycle and want some pampering and menstrual health support, it’s an amazingly curated subscription box with high quality and intentioned products for you to use. #Ad!
This AirBnB space was set in the middle of 2 acres of sparse and glorious desert landscape, well lit, beautifully designed and exactly what we needed for the shoot as well as exactly what I needed for a change of pace from the well hidden and darker Idyllwild cabin I had been staying at.
My cousin booked the space and the interaction with the host was easy, seamless and we had every thing we needed. If you want to retreat to Joshua Tree for a lot of quiet, a lot of light and some deep cleansing breaths, check this place out. It was amazing.
The video below is a peek into the space and design. They did a great job and I’m already trying to figure out when I can run back over there for a week of writing and sun worshiping.
